Review: Facial Treatment at Bellezza Aesthetics

Sunday, July 31, 2016 Princess's Daily Thoughts 0 Comments

Bellezza Aesthetics is located at fourth floor of Wheelock Place and is a place that provides a relaxing and premium facial treatments for face, eyes and also body. I was given a personalized facial treatment base on what the therapist had recommended me. I still can remember very clearly, the day before the appointment, Bellezza Aesthetics had give me a call and remind me about my appointment with them. Just a small reminder in case I have forgotten. Unlike other places, which do not offered such services. Hence, thumb up for such service.

I'm grateful that I am offered to a sponsored facial treatment. I was pretty busy for project, assignment and preparation for examination. Yes, and I have been sleeping late lately. Hence, there are pimples popping out and my skin had deteriorated a lot due to the stress I'm facing.

Reached Bellezza Aesthetics and was asked to enter a glass room by the therapist. Hot lavender tea and Lotus Biscoff Biscuit was served shortly. I have to answer a questionnaire which includes past medical history, allergies, and past surgeries etc. After the consultation, I was asked if I have any issue with my skin and the therapist recommended me to do Hydro Dermabrasion Facial, a process which require to use a vacuum suction method, similar to Microdermabrasion treatment.

The treatment room was cosy and dim lit with lavender scent aroma and a lot more comfortable with a cabinet for me to put my personal belongings (not bulky items as the cabinet space is quite limit) and to hang up my clothes. The therapist had told me that the treatment is going to take me some time by staying still, she asked me if I required any additional pillow for my legs to allow blood circulation to flow smoothly throughout the whole process. She was so thoughtful. After laying down on the bed, I got a strong feeling that I might doze off anytime due to *sleepless night* as I was rushing a report that was about to due soon.

My face was cleanse with lavender and was asked to inhale lavender essential oil (my favourite!) to keep me calm and relax, eye patch was laid on my eye to help me de-stress for about 5 to 10 minutes before starting the facial treatment. As everyone know, lavender is known as easing anxiety and insomnia.

The Hydro Dermabrasion Facial (90 mins) is known as 'celebrity facial' which helps to soften and repaired my complexion by exfoliating the outer layer of our skin to have a brighter and clear skin. Before the suction begins, the therapist was telling me that I will encounter some prickly feeling. The treatment starts from the neck area. I enjoyed the process and did not have any discomfort throughout the whole process while using the suction machine. This is me before the suction start.

Not sure if you can see from the picture due to the lighting, but for me when I viewed it through the mirror, I can see the huge difference via before and after! There were 2 rounds of vacuuming, and you can see from the first round, the picture shows an improvement on my right side of my face and is much more brighter now.

After the 2nd round of the suction done, the therapist offered to trim my eyebrows using the shaving method, as you can see from the picture, I have uneven eyebrows (laugh). Then pimple extraction over my face, after which by applying a face mask and massage. The cold and cooling mask session helps to improve skin hydration (was told my to apply more moisturizer/lotion on my face as it is  quite dry. When the therapist had left the room after applying the hydro mask, I had fallen asleep soon after during the masking session. Yes, I was indeed tired and needed a rest!

When the therapist was back, she told me that I was also given a hand pampering session with their Silky Collagen Royal Hand Treatment (20 mins), a hot wax mask with placenta collagen. The hand wax mask was initially hot when my hands were wrapped and place into a bag of liquid wax and soaked them throughout the masking period. I was resting comfortably throughout the whole process. After removing the hand mask, my hands felt smooth and moisturised. Face mask was remove as well, having fresh and clearer face now! Lastly, the therapist also gave me a arms and shoulder massage and wish she could go on. :p

Thank you Belleza Aesthetics for giving me a comfy facial treatment that allow me to have stress-free, relaxed during the entitled treatment process. I highly recommended their great service! After the whole treatment, I was served with tea and biscuit again before i left. I left Bellezza Aesthetic without applying makeup, walking around the shopping mall with a new glowing face. Singapore Food Festival at Farrer Park

At Farrer Park Singapore Food Festival ~ saw panda and take a picture with them.

I guess this is one of the best food at the Singapore Food Festival @ farrer park food street! 6 stick for $10.

another one that I love to eat, but only if the soup base could be stronger a little! Penang Assam Laska!

it's lucky that I shared the food with my sister. Mega Paella Pan ($8) which doesn't worth it. The rice is overly cooked (too sticky), then the ingredients like clams etc (there's no meat in it) and the the prawn is overly cooked as well. So it's not recommended!

This Sea prawn vadai is often seem at Pasa Malam. If you we're to ask me to compare, I'll picked the pasa malam one. The one offering at Farrer Park Street Food taste more like flour, tasteless and overall, not recommended! Quite disappointed.

Ah gong fried rice with additional Ginger and spinach with salted egg York sauce. We simply cleared the whole plate 😋😋

Claypot Toufu and Winter Melon with Pork Ribs Soup! 😋😋
Love the taste of the soup. Not salty and clear my tummy real fast (opps) :p

My all time favourite  Samsui Ginger Chicken with cucumber! Come together with a bowl of lettuce for you to wrap your samsui chicken with your ginger sauce. 😋😋

Chicken was steamed without much seasoning, dipped in ginger sauce before consumption. The ginger sauce is a fragrant and tasty compliment to the chicken.

Day 6: Puli Brewery, Chocolate Factory, Green Green Grasslands

Tuesday, July 05, 2016 Princess's Daily Thoughts 0 Comments

Date: 28 April 2016

Xiao Liu Qiu

The mountain scenery outside eating area

It is only us! The boss told us that weekdays there are lesser tourists or local resident staying over, except for weekends which is fully packed! So we were kinda surprised!

Our breakfast! Isn't it awesome? :p
Drooling over it? It look like deluxe breakfast! I can swear! :)

Before we set off, my eldest sister dipped herself in the Jacuzzi before we left! Great for family, relaxing tour! :)

Then, the driver came to fetch us at around 9plus, he drove us to the puli brewery. There was groups of tourists as well as students exploring the area. I believed it was school holiday for Taiwan side too.

At level 2, we saw this pottery near to the escalator area. So creatives! Done by students by designing the used pots etc :)

Some exhibition around level 2.
While walking out, we saw a corner with those traditional wedding stuffs such as "wedding cups" and "guo da li" stuffs :)

Our next destination was 18 Degree Chocolate Factory, basically this factory had all sort of stalls like chocolates, cakes, ice-cream (need to pay), Japanese ramen and coffee (bitter) as well. And everything are free! Isn't it awesome? You can visit the place with an empty stomach!
The chocolate selling shop. Tourists can pre-booking chocolates here and the courier could delivered it to the hotel just 2 days before you fly away!

The place you can purchase and try their ice-cream! Lots of choices to choose from..

The Ramen shop and a bowl of free ramen.

As I was craving for some shaving ice-cream etc, I was requesting the driver to drive us to any places that sell the shaving ice. Just as he drive out, one of the corner is selling it! We're pretty lucky isn't it?

Then, we continued our journey to Green Green Grasslands, 青青草园. Before we alight, the driver show us where we should go for shows and what is interesting over there! This driver is awesome seriously! Look at the map he draw!!

We are required to chop the stamp on our hand before heading to other places so that we can enter other area without paying anymore.

Spotted some sheep!

We took turns to take photos with the sheeps. Ahhh! They are so fluffy and also smelly :x

The recycle bins!

My eldest sister is feeding the sheep! If you purchase the dry grass food that the sheep eats, and once you fed them, they will keep following you just for the food.

There wasn't any shows during weekdays, but got a mini horses show nearby. So we headed to the place with the cold smog and cold air. *EWW*

This is the show I'm saying. Mongolia's Horse Program Show

This is the lead of the show.

A father and his daughter :)
His daughter is just 4 year old and rides a mini horse as well! So adorable!

We around to take several photos with the horse and the Mongolia people that in-charge of the individual horses!
Overall, we enjoyed the show although you can skip this part if you are not a horse lover.

Check-in: Le Retour Du Printemps Villa 2 Star Hotel
Basically there are no life for this Hotel. You got to drag up your luggage up yourself, and we are pretty lucky to stay at level 2 only :) Lady boss is very friendly. Explained clearly to us what is available and what's not.

Chilling area outside the Hotel

Dining area

Outside the hotel, there is a chilling area for guests to view the mountain during morning.

Resting area! There are also a mini gym area near to the dining area, but when we are there, it is under maintenance :)
We had a great night here :) Although the bed was quite hard to sleep on :x
