[REVIEW: OSTEOSOY MILK WITH BANANA AND BLUEBERRIES]

[REVIEW: OSTEOSOY MILK WITH BANANA AND BLUEBERRIES]

Blender :D

Ingredients needed :

Blueberries (Can add Raspberries, Blackberries, Strawberries)
Your choice! Add all if you want to also!

A packet of OsteoSoy Milk

1 ripe Banana

Add the half of the blueberries

Sources from internet : Blueberries are rich in Vitamins A, C, E and beta-carotene as well as rich in the minerals potassium, manganese, magnesium. They are very high in fiber and low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. But this is just the tip of the nutritional iceberg, for recent studies tell us that of all fresh fruits and vegetables, blueberries provide the most health-protecting antioxidants, those valuable elements which prevent cancer-causing cell damage and may limit the changes wrought by age related diseases.

Cost of Blueberries  $2.45 at Fairprice
If there's discount, its even more cheaper :)

Slice the bananas

Source from internet: Bananas offer beneficial supplies of vitamin C, fiber and electrolytes. They are a fat-free snake that supplies you with natural sugars and healthy calories. Bananas also satisfy about 25 percent of your daily requirement of vitamin B6, which your body uses to boost immunity and support your central nervous system. Bananas are a year-round food option, making them a smart choice for a well-balanced diet.

Cost of Bananas : I got the sale bundle at $1.74 at Fairprice!
Normal price for a bundle of Bananas is around $2 - $3

Add the packet of OsteoSoy Milk
Pour the powder into a cup and add 1/2 cup of warm water and 1/2 cup of cold water
Add ice if you want to :)

Some cookie shapes too!

4g baking powder
M&M chocolate

1. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
2. Whisk in eggs.
3. Fold in sifted flour and baking powder. Knead to form a dough, wrap and chill for a while.
4. Take 10g of dough. Roll round and flatten slightly. Press in M&M.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies (makes 12)

Ingredients
115g butter, softened
115g caster sugar ( I use half caster sugar, half brown sugar)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
175g plain flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/8 tsp salt
175g chocolate chips

Method
1. Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
2. Beat in the egg and vanilla essence.
3. Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt and fold in with the chocolate chips.
4. Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture on to the prepared baking sheet. Use another spoon to push it onto the tray, if required). Leave plenty of space between the cookies to allow for spreading during baking. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of the fork.
5. Bake the cookies at 180C for about 10-15 minutes until golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

More tips
1. For chocolate flavour, substitute 1 tbsp cocoa powder for the same quanity of flour.
2. For a chunkier texture, use coarsely chopped chocolate instead of chocolate chips.
3. For mocha flavour, use coffee essence instead of vanilla essence.
4. For nutty flavour, add whole or chopped macadamia nut, walnut or hazelnut.
5. For fruity flavour, add chopped dried fruit, such as raisins, sultanas, etc.
