Day 6: Puli Brewery, Chocolate Factory, Green Green Grasslands
Date: 28 April 2016
The mountain scenery outside eating area
It is only us! The boss told us that weekdays there are lesser tourists or local resident staying over, except for weekends which is fully packed! So we were kinda surprised!
Our breakfast! Isn't it awesome? :p
Drooling over it? It look like deluxe breakfast! I can swear! :)
Before we set off, my eldest sister dipped herself in the Jacuzzi before we left! Great for family, relaxing tour! :)
Then, the driver came to fetch us at around 9plus, he drove us to the puli brewery. There was groups of tourists as well as students exploring the area. I believed it was school holiday for Taiwan side too.
At level 2, we saw this pottery near to the escalator area. So creatives! Done by students by designing the used pots etc :)
Some exhibition around level 2.
While walking out, we saw a corner with those traditional wedding stuffs such as "wedding cups" and "guo da li" stuffs :)
Our next destination was 18 Degree Chocolate Factory, basically this factory had all sort of stalls like chocolates, cakes, ice-cream (need to pay), Japanese ramen and coffee (bitter) as well. And everything are free! Isn't it awesome? You can visit the place with an empty stomach!
The chocolate selling shop. Tourists can pre-booking chocolates here and the courier could delivered it to the hotel just 2 days before you fly away!
The place you can purchase and try their ice-cream! Lots of choices to choose from..
The Ramen shop and a bowl of free ramen.
As I was craving for some shaving ice-cream etc, I was requesting the driver to drive us to any places that sell the shaving ice. Just as he drive out, one of the corner is selling it! We're pretty lucky isn't it?
Then, we continued our journey to Green Green Grasslands, 青青草园. Before we alight, the driver show us where we should go for shows and what is interesting over there! This driver is awesome seriously! Look at the map he draw!!
We are required to chop the stamp on our hand before heading to other places so that we can enter other area without paying anymore.
Spotted some sheep!
We took turns to take photos with the sheeps. Ahhh! They are so fluffy and also smelly :x
The recycle bins!
My eldest sister is feeding the sheep! If you purchase the dry grass food that the sheep eats, and once you fed them, they will keep following you just for the food.
There wasn't any shows during weekdays, but got a mini horses show nearby. So we headed to the place with the cold smog and cold air. *EWW*
This is the show I'm saying. Mongolia's Horse Program Show
This is the lead of the show.
A father and his daughter :)
His daughter is just 4 year old and rides a mini horse as well! So adorable!
We around to take several photos with the horse and the Mongolia people that in-charge of the individual horses!
Overall, we enjoyed the show although you can skip this part if you are not a horse lover.
Check-in: Le Retour Du Printemps Villa 2 Star Hotel
Basically there are no life for this Hotel. You got to drag up your luggage up yourself, and we are pretty lucky to stay at level 2 only :) Lady boss is very friendly. Explained clearly to us what is available and what's not.
Chilling area outside the Hotel
Dining area
Outside the hotel, there is a chilling area for guests to view the mountain during morning.
Resting area! There are also a mini gym area near to the dining area, but when we are there, it is under maintenance :)
We had a great night here :) Although the bed was quite hard to sleep on :x
