Next, the driver drove us to 天长地久 bridge area to visit the surrounding. There was a long stair to climb up and up from the bridge, you can see the environment around the bridge.

Took a photo with the 智慧 (Wisdom) displayed stone.

The entrance

My sister is a rat :p

And mine was snake :)

This large bell is for people to do wishing.

The scenery up on the bridge. Surrounding is a river around the area ..

We did not go into the temple, only took a photo outside.

Location: 天长地久

Lots of tourist at the back

After visiting the areas, we went on to the next destination which is 奋起湖 - Fenchihu Station. It was pretty cold throughout the journey, hence, a coat is needed!

 Location: 奋起湖

The yellow school bus kind of train.

Look, how nice the driver had shown us, what food to eat (recommended)

Super love this 2 photos that my eldest sister had taken for me! Love the feeling ~

A popular snack store that sells cakes, mochi, teas etc! A lot of the Taiwan and Singapore stars have been there too! :)

The so called "Ah Yu Jelly Tea" that was recommended. BUT, we do not like the taste at all! Seriously how great is that taste? We end up taking a sip and left the drink on the table itself. *puke* So its not a recommended drink

It's like a mixed vegetable stall. Can't remember the exact name of this food already. But I think its the chicken drumlet rice :) Although its a recommended dish as well, but I think only the chicken and rice can be eaten. Other food taste just erm so so .. Most of the eatery shop is not opened during the time when we are there.

The "working train" at the station. Many of the tourists was waiting for the train service towards elsewhere. Pretty awesome I can say. Hopefully in future we got time to take a ride :)

Next, we went up to the cold and chilling Mountain!
We are at 阿里山 - Alishan!

Location: 遊阿里山園區

We walked into the forest kind of place to explore the trees or tree trunk etc.

One of it was this 姐妹潭 - Sister area?

This tree is  永结同心 - Love Forever. However, the trunk just broke off suddenly and the shape remains like this. FYI, All tree trunks are naturally formed into the shape itself* Not man-made!

金猪报喜 - Pig Shaped Old Stump!
Above picture shown a old pig trunk. Was kinda surprise to see this kind of 'pig'.

Stump Looks like Elephant's Trunk
(I should have taken a side view too. But if you can see, it is a elephant's trunk)

The 3 Generation Trees
三兄弟 - The Three Brothers
Was told that the three brothers trunks will not be separated and will stay together no matter what
happen

A river connecting to the forest area

Walked around and saw Sakura flowers trees around. Not much left. Already end of Sakura season.

A super long path towards the other entrance/exits.

阿里山博物馆 - Alishan Museum
We did not walk into the Museum as we are rushing off to another areas to visit. There was a lot of tourists group up on the forest as well. So, we decided not to squeeze with them. :)

Pagoda of The Tree Spirits
This statue is for those Japanese who had died during the World War 3 where many Japanese had died there. You may refer to the board above for more information :)

Took the petal that dropped on the floor (MIND YOU, not plucked from the tree). There was a couple from China or whatever place they came from, while the husband is helping the wife to take a nice photo, the wife was trying to pluck the flower from the tree, my sister and I then showed them a pissed off face and the husband actually stopped his wife from plucking it down from the tree. gosh! So uncivilized!  Love Cherry or Sakura flowers. :)

Then, we walked past this huge post office which look like those Chinese Temple. Wanted to send a memorable card or something back to Singapore, but we were late! The post office closed at 4pm! We were there at 4.30 pm.

Finally, end our day at 阿里山 - Alishan!

We went to check-in our minsu which is really ............... Bad =/
you got to choose a place right inside the Alishan area is you are planning to catch the earliest train to watch the sunrise! I'm serious, or else you got to wake up extra early. We are lucky to change our minsu or else, we got to wake up very early as well!

Check-in:
This minsu does not have a lift! So you got to carry your heavy luggage up to your room yourself! I guessed all other minsu does not have lift as well untill you choose those super atas hotel which is expensive in sense of mountain area. The bed was really small, I have to squeeze to the bed side as I am sharing the bed with my eldest sister. Heng ah, I'm average size :x

The minsu have a bathtub for us to soak ourselves which is really not bad when if comes to the night. It is really very COLD. So you can soak yourself right inside the hot bathtub! :)

The little corner of the minsu and a dresser right beside the right side of the chain (not inside this photo) We'll be resting for awhile before heading out around 6 plus to watch firefly. (unable snap or video as we were told not to use flash light as the firefly will go and hide, ^^

When we were back at the Alishan area, we went family mart to buy dinner, head back and rest already. We got to rest early as we got to wake up early to catch the first train to watch sunrise. (Will be blog at the next post)
